    I have used our LED Calculator on the link below.

    Using that I reckon that you will be looking at a 330 Ohm resistor.

  2. I plan to use these flashing LED's in a project I have planned - Product Code: 3538 Red Flashing 5mm Water Clear LED - 30deg - 3500mCd. Can you please advise me if they would run off a standard 3V Coin Cell Battery or would you advise using resistor? If a resistor is required then what value would you advise to work with a 3V Coin Cell Battery. Thanks in advance.

    Answered by the admin These LED’s are fine to be run off a standard 3V coin cell without a resistor.
