These reels of heat shrink sleeving (sometimes called heat-shrink tubing) are available in various diameters and lengths. They are made from a highly flexible flame-retardant polyolefin tubing to MIL-1-23053/5 which when heated to 100°C and above, will shrink in a ratio of 2:1.
The heat-shrink is resistant to acids, alkalis, fuel and oil, and is suitable for general insulation. All nominal diameters shown are before heating, post heating the diameters can be as small as half of the starting diameter.
They are supplied on handy dispenser mini reels, so they can easily be stored anywhere in the workshop, including on shelving for easy access.
