Answered by the admin Hello Ethan, It is very difficult to give a sensible estimation of the amount of force required to turn the circuit on. The issue is the surface area of the switch is very small so trying to place an object on this to obtain a weight in nearly impossible. After trying a number of different objects I wasn't able to locate a sensible object to get a result on that is measureable. It would likely deepened a great deal on the item you are using to press the switch or how the force is applied.
