Answered by the admin Hello, The issue would be that if the bulb was previously a 3.5V and you placed a bulb rated at 1.5V then the power supply would be too high and the bulb would fail. However if you change the power supply or use a variable power supply then this would be fine.

Answered by the admin We sell these bulbs in three different voltages, 1.5V, 2.5V and 3.5V and are rated at 200mA. A standard 9V battery can produce between 400-600mAh, as such it would take approximately 2-3 hours before the battery couldn’t power the bulb.
