A mains powered filter unit with a powerful 120mm fan, for removal of soldering fumes from your soldering area.

When soldering for extended periods of time there is a risk of headaches, nausea and eye irritation that can be greatly reduced or eliminated by using a filter unit placed approximately 120-150mm from your soldering iron.

The filter unit is supplied with a fitted activated carbon filter. The filter should be replaced when it becomes discoloured or when excessive dust has accumulated.

The replacement filters come in packs of three and can be found here: Spare Filters, pack of 3.

    Answered by the admin Hi Linda, Thank you for your question, you can get away with two solder stations per fume hood. One is the ideal but you can push it to two. Best Cullen Lewis
